Life.

So I really want to have two posts today because I don't want the sad horrible stuff to be mixed up with the good. But then I thought; that's life. So I'll end with the good since I always prefer the bad news first.

Ft Hood.

I can't believe what happened and I cannot imagine what the families are going through now. I know so many soldiers are already jumping to conclusions based on the one gunman's name. Honestly, though I am extremely tolerant, and have a lot of Muslim friends, I don't know the extremists that taint the Muslim religion. Yes the major might have been mentally unstable, yes he might have broken down after hearing all the soldiers at Walter Reed work through their issues. But you know, that doesn't give him the fucking right to shoot innocent soldiers about to go to war.

Soldiers deserve a safe place SOMEWHERE. It's bad enough that they are regularly being ripped away from their families to possibly be hurt or killed in some unforgiving foreign land. To be attacked at home, on the day they leave? Horrific.

I have a friend, J, that has pretty much lived at Walter Reed since December 07. He lost his legs in Afghanistan and he knew MAJ Malik Nadal Hasan. He talked to the guy, and he put his entire being into getting better and making his life a fulfilling one. If anyone has to lose it over what's happened and what might happen in his life J should be able to. But he isn't. He's strong and he's fighting for his quality of life. MAJ Hasan should have gotten out of his PTSD counselling services if it was affecting him that badly. As a psychiatrist he should have realised he was doing more harm than good...if this was just a case of being mentally unstable.

I personally hate using that excuse. It's the reason so many dangerous criminals are in the psych ward instead of dead or in a maximum security prison. If someone is capable of causing this much destruction they must face the punishment - which includes the raging mob awaiting vengeance.

Was it a terrorist attack? Who knows, but I'm not ruling out any possibility. If the people who are trying to solve this go about saying we can't include racial profiling because well... it's racist, then they would be hampering their case. I am waiting for the results because closure would probably be the only thing useful for the families of the fallen at this time. I will not ignore that MAJ Malik Nadal Hasan was a Muslim. I will not persecute all Muslims for this either.

Ok the good new... it's my birthday today, and I was surprised with an awesome 11 dozen roses at midnight by my husband at the bar. I am incredibly lucky to have such an amazing man in my life. I can't wait for the rest of the day.

Womolia By Emotional Bliss

This new and amazing toy by Emotional Bliss is just what I needed. The Womolia is an exquisite piece of technology. The things that make this product unique are; the size, the anti bacterial quality, the 9 settings, the fact that it is rechargeable and the very well laid out booklet.

The Womolia is a little longer than my palm, with a bulbous head the nestles very well against the clit. On the Emotional Bliss website it says experienced users can actually push the head in for a more intense orgasm - I couldn't - but didn't need to. There are ridges in the head which add a pleasant friction when rubbing it around the vagina. The handle is long and smooth, which is easy to grasp. The buttons are at the very bottom which makes it easy to use but is low enough that it doesn't accidentally turn on or off at inopportune moments.

The package came equiped with a very detailed, well laid out manual, the Womolia, the charger, a water based lubricant and a silicone based lubricant. The charger is easy to use - plug it in and make sure it is charged for 12 hours before your first use.

The one thing that made me do a double take was the fact that the Womolia has an anti bacterial agent in it that means all you have to do is rinse it and wipe it down and it is completely sterile again. It was hard for me to believe but I am completely impressed with it. If you are a skeptic you can always use toy cleaner to be doubly sure. The Womolia is made of silicone so be sure to use water based lube only and store it away from other silicone products.

The Womolia has 9, count em 9, different speed settings. Most of them are really quiet with the loudest one easily muffled under the covers or behind a closed door. The settings are varied enough that almost every different woman can find their perfect setting whether they like it soft, extremely hard, random, or all the various types in between. I love using my toys on the highest setting but didn't even need that with the Womolia. With the way the head is shaped, the ridges and the power behind each setting allowed me to climax on more than one setting!

The Womolia also heats up as you use it. It takes a while for it to become warm, and for a while I had to wonder whether I was warm from the friction I was causing or if it was the Womolia. But after using it several times I learned that the Womolia gives off what's best described as a 'warm radiance' that just adds that je ne sais quois to this toy. It's the perfect final touch that literally makes you want to create a shrine to it.

Thank you so much to Nina for helping me pick my toy, explain everything to me, send me all the necessary information, and put up with my delays! I really have had the best experience with Emotional Bliss!
