The Story of O is a classic. I knew this before I read the book, and as I turned the last page I realised why.
This book was so well written I sometimes read over sentences again just because they sounded so beautiful. The imagery created was vivid and the story so bold and outrageous my mind (and my vagina) just absorbed every last detail. I know reading is a powerful tool to make me wet and horny, but this book blew every other book out of the water. I'd say I had a butt plug in for about half the book. And a vibrator in for the other quarter. The last quarter was sex toy free because I needed to really focus to appreciate such a fine piece of literature.
O is a young woman that is taught how to be a submissive. This is done through a school where her initiation into BDSM begins, and then more training with other individuals finally makes her truly submissive. It is unique because her questions and concerns are real, and believable. It was easy for me as a reader to make myself the protagonist in this novel. That more than anything else made this book appealing and accessible.

When O was whipped I read avidly, my bottom smarting from a recent spanking.
When O was ravaged mercilessly by many cocks I stopped to have H fuck me senseless with a dildo in my arse.

I don't want to give the book away, so I won't say more. But this is a must read. It's unique and it's informative for both beginners and experts alike. Yes it might be scary for those only curious about BDSM but it is an eye opener about the relationship between a sadist and masochist.
